Hugo de Burgh

Hugo de Burgh, Professor of Journalism at Westminster University, gave a speech on the Chinese economy and on the politics of identity. He jokingly (hopefully!) suggested that we might end up agreeing that the Chinese system is best for the economy, after all some people in the EU work the same way.

Hugo argued against the move away from localism and said that power should be given back to the people, just as China is starting to do.
