The St George Distillery in Norfolk has started bottling the first English whisky in 120 years.

The English Whisky Company was set up 3 years ago and its first bottles will go on sale on December 16th.

St George’s Whisky is on sale in 9 countries, including Scotland!

If you’re a whisky fan and decide to sample the first English whisky in 120 years, please contact us and give us your verdict.

    I doubt it will be popular in Scotland :D too much butthurt.

    I hope it is a success wherever it is consumed and good luck to them with what looks like a good product – mind, always drink responsibly..

    I would however jazz up that label and box, it does look like something that lurks in the medicine cupboard and is suitable for sprains.

    They should ask my good friend and brilliant artist, Englishman Rodger McPhail to do a nice illustration for them. He already has form on doing whisky bottles – he did the Famous Grouse painting….
