Campaign for an English Parliament

CEP News Blog

You may recall a story in the Daily Mail recently where Bob Peedle criticised Wayne Rooney for not singing God Save the Queen before England matches.

I took the opportunity to ask Bob Peedle yesterday why he thought Wayne Rooney should sing the British national anthem before England matches as the purpose of the Royal Society of St George is to promote England and Englishness.

He said that the reporter from the Daily Mail was the worst reporter he had encountered and that he said nothing of the sort to him.  He has, in fact, had an apology from the Daily Mail.

I do not understand how Bob Peedle could have the cheek to judge anyone about anything when he cannot even make the effort to contact his children and greandchildren once in a blue moon. I dont even think he knows he has four great grandchildren and quite frankly i dont think he cares. This is a man that should keep his opinions to himself!
