The Campaign for an English Parliament is made up from members who are also members of various parties and of none.
We are an entirely voluntary non-partisan campaign following in the great tradition of English protest movements and hold no alignment with any political party, although we do talk to and work with some of the individuals from these parties who accept our views and we seek to influence others who are not yet convinced.
We would welcome the formation of a cross-party alliance to address the English Question. The latest report from IPPR [link] shows that a just solution cannot be deferred indefinitely. Those who support the Union need to consider, before it is too late, how England can be accommodated as a national political unit within the Union or in a modernised version of the Union.
Eddie Bone, Chairman of the Campaign for an English Parliament states
“That the CEP has and is currently speaking with many MPs, Peers and Think Tanks from all the Political Parties. We are a non-party political campaign in the great English tradition of protest. We urge all who believe in the democratic right of the people of England to support our campaign for an English Parliament.”
